WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Debbie Callahan, with help from her friends, will host a three-day fundraising tag sale to benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world leader in cancer research and treatment.
The tag sale will take place:
August 7, 8 and 9
8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day
115 Adrian Avenue, West Springfield
One hundred percent of the money raised will be donated to Dana-Farber in support of Callahan’s participation in the Dana-Farber Marathon Walk on October 4.
This will be Callahan’s third year participating in the Marathon Walk. She will once again take on the entire 26.2-mile Boston Marathon route, walking from Hopkinton to Boston to raise money for cancer research and patient care.
“We hope people will stop by, find some great items and help us raise as much money as possible for Dana-Farber,” Callahan said. “Cancer has touched so many lives, and every purchase and donation will help support this important cause.”
Donations of items for the tag sale are greatly appreciated. The more items available to sell, the more money the event can raise for Dana-Farber. Callahan and her friends are working together to make the tag sale a success and welcome the community’s support.
