WESTFIELD — The 104th Fighter Wing held its annual F100 rededication ceremony on May 15.
The event honored the 13 fallen airmen who have given their lives in aviation-related events in performance of their duties to the state and country.
Col. Michael Glass, 104th Fighter Wing commander, addressed personnel, alumni, families of the fallen, and distinguished guests assembled around the F-100 static display. A 21-gun salute was performed, and the laying of a memorial wreath occurred as the names of the fallen airmen were read.
