Drive-Through Event Makes It Easy to Safely Recycle Unwanted Devices

Temple Beth El Springfield will hold an Electronics Recycling Event in partnership with Green Team Junk Removal on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 10 am to 2 pm, at the temple’s location at 979 Dickinson Street in Springfield.

The event will be held as a convenient drive-through in the temple parking lot, providing the local community with an opportunity to responsibly dispose of unwanted electronic devices for a small fee.

Everyone is invited to bring their old computers, laptops, monitors, printers, faxes, cell phones, and more. Item disposal fees are as follows: computer monitors are $20 each; laptops are $10; computer towers are $10; printers and faxes are $10; and cell phones and computer accessories are $5. TVs over 40 inches can be recycled for $45 each, CRT TVs for $55, and miscellaneous electronics for $10 each.

All items will be safely and properly recycled, helping to protect the environment while supporting Temple Beth El’s fundraising efforts. Computer hard drives will be removed and shredded to ensure data is non-recoverable.
