SPRINGFIELD — Five finalists came together Saturday, Feb. 10, at Cedars Banquet Hall in the crowning of the Springfield colleen, Emma Feeley of Springfield. Each young woman was personally interviewed, judged on their community service, involvement in the general community, and their knowledge of their Irish heritage. The night also included live music and performances by the Black Rose Academy of Irish Dance as well as the presentation of the the John & Agnes Burke Award (Bridget Barcomb Dupois), Paul G. Caron Award (Maureen Olds), Mary B. Troy Award (Iron Duke Brewing), and the 2024 Parade Marshall Stephen McGirr.
