Highview of Northampton has seen a high number of fines and flagged deficiencies over the last three years. One of the most fined facilities in Massachusetts by the federal government during the same time, it has also not met state standards for registered nurse hours and is above the national average of health citations.

In May, a team of five Western Massachusetts police officers honored all fallen cops — 23,785 throughout American history, according to the memorial fund — by pedaling more than 300 miles from northern New Jersey to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Summer Concert Series to return to Summit House for 37th year
SOUTH HADLEY — The Friends of the Mount Holyoke Range, a nonprofit environmental conservation organization founded in 1982, began the Summit House Sunset Concert Series in 1987, which is hosted in Skinner State Park’s historic Summit House. This year marks the series’ 37th year.
