WE ARE HOMETOWN NEWS.

On Nov. 5, residents will have their final opportunity to vote in this year’s state and presidential election.

Massachusetts Election Day polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at each town’s specific locations. Polling locations are divided by precinct, allowing residents to vote in-person near their home.

In addition to in-person election day voting, residents were also able to vote by mail, absentee ballot or early voting for this election. While the last day to apply for mail-in voting was Oct. 29 and voter registration closed on Oct. 26, early voting will be available in varying towns until Friday, Nov. 1.

See below for information on specific towns’ deadlines and polling locations.

Residents can also vote early on Thursday, Oct. 31, and Friday, Nov. 1, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the conference room at the East Longmeadow Public Library, 60 Center Sq., and apply for an in-person absentee ballot until 12 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, Quaglietti stated.

Mail-in ballots can also be submitted until 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8. Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 5, submitted in-person at the Town Clerk’s office or early voting location, or left in a ballot drop box to be accepted.

Wiseman also recommended that residents review their voting status prior to election day in order to ensure their information is accurate and updated. Residents can check their voter status online at sec.state.ma.us/voterregistrationsearch.
