HUNTINGTON — Littleville Elementary School participated in the “One School One Book” initiative this fall, with the whole school reading “A Boy Named Bat,” by Elana Arnold, a story about a boy who wants to keep an orphaned skunk that his mother, a veterinarian, brought home to care for.
Hilltown election results mirrored the majority of the country more closely than they did the commonwealth of Massachusetts in turns of votes for national and state leaders; however, the Hilltowns were in sync with the state on the ballot questions.
While voters statewide continue to send Democrats back to Boston and Washington D.C. to serve in the State House and the U.S. Congress, Republican voters in Southwick, Granville and Tolland once again demonstrated why this area is considered one of the reddest in the state.
SOUTHWICK — Seven young men were recognized Nov. 4 by the Southwick Select Board for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.
