Ware library opens the books for summer reading program

WARE — A 27-article warrant was presented at the rescheduled June 10 Town meeting at the Ware Junior Senior High School with a significant allotment of time and discussion devoted to identifying overall budget allocations and affecting changes to water bylaws and infrastructure spending.
HUNTINGTON — Alexi Bonenfant of Westfield is the valedictorian for the Gateway Regional High School class of 2024. Bonenfant is the daughter of Matthew Bonenfant, Gateway’s athletic director. She started attending Gateway schools in first grade.
SOUTH HADLEY — Due to its town bylaw, a Town Meeting Review Committee is appointed every five years to report its findings and recommendations regarding ways and means to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of Town Meeting to the Select Board within six months of its appointment.
PELHAM — Budget allocation for the Quabbin Health District’s Public Health Excellence Grant met with approval at a June 6 meeting of the health district’s Board of Directors at the Pelham Library.
