In recognition of the 66th anniversary of the National Tibetan Uprising Day, the Regional Tibetan Association of Massachusetts led a “Walk for Tibet” on March 10, starting in the morning in Amherst, through Northampton in the afternoon and ending the day in Easthampton.

EASTHAMPTON — Easthampton High School’s We the People Team has yet again captured a state title — their eighth straight — and are now preparing for April when they head to Washington, D.C., for the national tournament. The team is now seeking donations from the community to help fund the trip.

EASTHAMPTON — During its Feb. 19 meeting the Easthampton City Council voted to endorse Mayor Nicole LaChapelle’s reaffirmation of the city’s Welcoming Trust Ordinance.
