WESTFIELD — A Springfield man, who was a bus monitor for a company that provides transportation for people with physical and mental disabilities, was charged on May 20 in District Court on 16 counts of sexual assault, including two rapes, that occurred on a company bus involving a woman described as intellectually disabled, according to court documents.
SPRINGFIELD — The Hampden County District Attorney’s office recently announced that three major drug trafficking investigations in Western Massachusetts yielded 52 arrests, 45 firearms and over 37 kilograms of drugs.
Mary Krol of Westfield, a Hilltown Safety at Home Victim Advocate, received the 2025 Advocate of the Year Award from the Mass. Office for Victim Assistance and the Victim & Witness Assistance Board on May 5.
