CHICOPEE — On Oct. 23, the Chicopee Fire Department invited Mayor John Vieau, the City Council and public safety officers to fire house No. 5 to celebrate two capital improvement projects.
CHICOPEE — On Oct. 17, Chicopee hosted a flag raising ceremony to honor Polish Heritage Month to continue its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and celebrating the cultural tapestry of its residents.
Mayor John Vieau, city and state officials, students from St. Stanislaus School and residents gathered to celebrate and support the Polish heritage.
CHICOPEE — On Oct. 16, Chicopee hosted recognition ceremony at the City Hall Auditorium to honor the community leaders who generously provided free haircuts, braiding, hairstyling and manicures to local students at the third annual back-to-school event hosted on Aug. 25 at Rivers Park.
CHICOPEE — On Oct. 11, many gathered in Chicopee to experience the Breast Cancer Awareness flag raising ceremony and show their support.
CHICOPEE — French heritage will be remembered and celebrated on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 1 p.m., with the dedication of a new monument. The rain date will be Sunday, Nov. 3.
