CHICOPEE — During the March 4 City Council meeting, City Councilors Mary Beth Pniak-Costello and Susan Goff proposed that a letter be sent to the state delegation support the request from lawmakers to have state utility regulators investigate skyrocketing energy costs including Eversource.
CHICOPEE — On Feb. 27, the Planning Department hosted an open house for the public to give them an opportunity to learn about current city projects and provide input to help complete these critical plans.

CHICOPEE — During the Feb. 19 School Committee meeting, Maintenance Director Scott Chapdelaine met with the School Committee to give an update on the school facilities and maintenance.
CHICOPEE — During the Feb. 18 City Council meeting, the council approved funding for a citywide instant messaging program that could be used during a potential crisis or to alert the entire city.
CHICOPEE — During the Feb. 4 City Council meeting, the council approved an order to establish an Envision Our Chicopee: 2040 implementation committee to oversee the implementation of the items delineated in the comprehensive plan and conduct activities as described in the action plan.
