LUDLOW — Ludlow has been experiencing an influx of rodent activity in the past two years. As the presence of rats and mice in backyards and trashcans has continued to be an issue for many in the community, the town released a statement urging people to take precautions on their properties, such as securing trashcans and reducing clutter.
WARREN — Warren is in the process of creating a new Master Plan, a document that will guide the town’s decisions and growth over the next five to seven years.

SPRINGFIELD — Two classical musicians will bring the world of Latin American chamber music to Springfield with a one-hour concert, “Bahué Live in Springfield: Descarga Hipnótico.” The music, for voice and vibraphone, are the work of five composers from around the Latin American diaspora.
The Women’s Foundation of Boston recently announced that it has awarded more than $2.17 million in grants funding to nonprofits that focus on serving women and girls. These include three organizations based in the Pioneer Valley that will receive a total of $583,000 over the next three years.
