SOUTHWICK — The Select Board recently acknowledged that its experiment to have one director for the Council on Aging and the Parks and Recreation Commission really didn’t work.

SOUTHWICK — There will be several new events at The Wick 338 this spring and summer, including a first-ever at the track: electric unicycle racing.

SOUTHWICK — The town has released its municipal aggregation plan prepared by the Colonial Power Group that can lower electricity costs for residents and businesses.

SOUTHWICK — On Jan. 30, Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture will host a grant writing workshop for farmers at the Southwick Public Library at 6:30 p.m.

SOUTHWICK — After the Select Board adopted the job description it will use to vet candidates to replace retiring Police Chief Robert Landis, the board on Jan. 8 decided against seeking help choosing the next chief, despite board member Jason Perron’s request to use an outside “oral board.”
